2D Gallery
I really haven't done that much 3d art as of yet, I only recently got a Wacom Graphire4 arty tablet jobby to help me with making better textures, then I promptly discovered that I sucked at making textures with it, and there was a bit of a learning curveto it. So to get some l33t sk1llZ in my wacom, I decided to make some pictures. I hope they help me get used to it. (I have many more than this, but they are crap and I don't want to show them to anyone if I haven't already deleted them)
A Pretty Face
My first, and as of yet, only 2d art piece is a portrait of sorts. I was having trouble coming up with things to draw, so I decided to google for something. So I googled for "pretty face" and found something to make. The GIMP file uses about twenty different layers for different parts of the face. This is the original photo, and I hope that the girl or the person who took the picture don't mind me using their picture for self education. I think I butchered her beyond recognition anyway, so to the girl in the photo: I'm sorry if I made you ugly, you are a very, very pretty girl (I kinda fell in love making this :P). Anyway, noone reads the writing so I am just wasting my time here. Here is the picture (click to enlarge):
